ENGLISH TEACHER?

~بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Today, I am a teacher again.
Teacher Jas asked me to replace her for the RISDA extra classes at school.

And so I did.

English extra class.
3.00-5.00 pm.

I was indeed feeling nervous
and a little bit shy...huhu..

Before we start the class, I asked them to introduce themselve.Taaruf.
Then, I tried to memorized each of their names.

There were 13 of them.
Najihah, Zafirah, Fariha, Azizah, Afiqah, Husna, Hani, Shahirah, Maryam, Diyana, Khairul, Malik and Nasrin.

Then I took out my dictionary from my bag
and told them: "Kak Tin is not an English teacher, no no.."

I am not qualified yet to be one. So, let us take our class today as a group discussion instead of a formal class, okay! Don't be too serious~~ (^-^)

We started with Section A, Paper 2.
I gave them some handouts photocopied from the book provided by Teacher Jas.

We discussed the MCQ questions together.
Alhamdulillah, positive responds from all the students.

Next, we moved to Set B.
I asked them to do it themselves and after a while we discussed the answers together.

At 4.15 pm, we stopped our lesson.

Then, we chatted a bit.
I asked them about their preparation for the SPM trial examination which is just around the corner. They said they were all nervous. Well, it's normal. Been there lorh, hehe. (^-^)

At 4.30 pm, I end the class. Alhamdulillah, khalas.

While waiting for my father to fetch me, I met my Biology Teacher and we had a long conversation.
It was great!

Alhamdulillah.
New experiences.
Teaching Form 5 students.
Replacing my very own English Teacher for her class. (^-^)
